Introduction to Permaculture for Cold Climates

You don't have to grow your hair long, stop using deodorant and move into a yurt to enjoy the benefits of being a "Permie"! Tom Girolamo's vision is that permaculture can be achievable and inclusive of all walks of life, professions and occupations. Participants will learn how to excel in their goals for ethical permaculture applications. Suitable for beginners to advanced on residential, business and farm properties in the upper Midwest.

Spring Into Gardening Walk

Motivate yourself for the growing season through this lively spring garden walk! For beginners, we will discuss the basics of spring pruning, perennial clean-up and soil division, soil prep, and mulching. Experienced gardeners can expect some handy tips to save time and effort, as well as tips to protect the health and diversity of pollinators and other friendly organisms living in your garden.
