Whether planning a wedding, retirement party, birthday party, or a gathering for any occasion, let Olbrich Botanical Gardens be the backdrop. Olbrich has three rooms inside the botanical center that are available for rental year-round, each of which overlooks the stunning scenery of the Outdoor Gardens. The Bolz Conservatory is also available as an add-on for evening rentals and as a ceremony site for small, early evening weddings.

Approved Caterers
Food service is available through local caterers that are contracted to provide food service at Olbrich. You contract directly with the caterer of your choice from our approved caterer list. Bar service is also available upon request.
Wedding Packages
April 1 - October 31
During peak wedding season, ceremony and reception spaces must be booked together as a package on Fridays and Saturdays only. In order to provide the best service possible, Olbrich hosts only one wedding event per day during this time of year.
The rest of the year, our wedding rental spaces may be booked à la carte - the Atrium or Conservatory for wedding ceremonies, and the Evjue Commons for wedding receptions.
Spaces Included
- Evjue Commons - A reception space with a capacity of 150 people from noon - 11 pm
- Lussier Terrace - An outdoor patio adjoining the reception space from noon - 11 pm
- Atrium - An indoor ceremony space with a capacity of 120 chairs from noon - 7 pm (6 pm in October)
- A private changing room from noon - 7 pm (6 pm in October)
- Event Garden - opportunity to move ceremony to outdoor Event Garden with a capacity of 120 chairs from noon - 7 pm (Garden Season only and weather permitting)
Extras Included
- Tables and chairs set up for your reception, as you prefer
- White chairs (120) set up for your ceremony (indoor or outdoor based on rental season)
- One hour rehearsal to be scheduled in advance
- Photo opportunities throughout the gardens during public garden hours (following Olbrich Botanical Gardens' Photography Guidelines)
- One-year Garden Family membership
- September & October - a special reduced ticket rate for Olbrich's GLEAM: Art in a New Light exhibition for your guests on the evening of your rental

Outdoor Ceremonies
For weddings during the Garden Season (May 26 - September 30, 2023 & May 24 - September 28, 2024), if there is good weather on the day of your wedding, you will have the option to move the ceremony outdoors to the Event Garden. Olbrich's Event Garden is beautifully landscaped with seasonal annuals and a dark wood pergola.
Please note that the Event Garden is a part of our outdoor public garden, so cannot be rented itself. It is not private and cannot be blocked off, but is an optional location to hold the ceremony on the day of the wedding. Other garden guests may pass by your wedding ceremony.
