Plants are great, but it's the people that make our garden special.
Winter storms are fascinating and impactful, but how well do you understand how they actually work? Storms are a useful vehicle for studying the wider workings of the atmosphere. This class will provide a synopsis of atmospheric processes in terms of a handful of basic physical concepts involving energy and motion.
What is better than walking through a pine forest after a snowfall? Painting it using watercolors! In this 2 hour class, you will learn different techniques to paint snow-covered trees using watercolors. We will use masking fluid, salt, and splatter to create our 5x7 inch winter wonderland. At the end of class, you will mat your painting. All supplies included.
