Plants are great, but it's the people that make our garden special.
Paint a colorful field of flowers with watercolors! You will also learn techniques for painting clouds, trees, grasses, and leaves. Make yours unique by choosing your own flower colors. At the end of class, you will mat one of your 5x7 paintings. This class is for beginners. All supplies included.
Jorie Graham is one of the most important poetic voices of the last fifty years, often noted for her long-line style, abundant presence of thought, and persistent reference to the natural world. In this class, we’ll take a look at differing perspectives on the ‘nature of nature’ in Graham’s poetry, and engage in a short session of freewriting to finish the class. This class is a 2-week series on Tuesdays June 4 and 11.
Join us for an engaging stroll through Olbrich's stunning Herb Garden as you learn about the history and uses of medicinal plants, herbal lore, harvesting tips, and interesting scientific facts. Herbalists and gardeners of all skill levels will find inspiration in this summer garden stroll.
