Landscapes with Alcohol Ink and Foil

The free-flowing movements of alcohol ink allow you to create gorgeous landscapes, without any drawing or painting skills. We will use a variety of tools to guide, blend, and layer the inks to create three different landscapes, then use metallic alloys and foil to add interesting accents. You will leave with three paintings matted to 8x10. All supplies are provided. All skill levels are welcome; best for ages 16+.

Fields of Flowers Watercolor Class

Jorie Graham is one of the most important poetic voices of the last fifty years, often noted for her long-line style, abundant presence of thought, and persistent reference to the natural world. In this class, we’ll take a look at differing perspectives on the ‘nature of nature’ in Graham’s poetry, and engage in a short session of freewriting to finish the class.
