Little Sprouts programs are nature and literature-based early childhood programs designed to meet the multidimensional learning and developmental needs of children ages 2-5 years. Each class is designed for children to work side-by-side with their adult caregiver as they engage in hands-on, fun, age-appropriate experiences that support the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Ages 2-5 with an adult; adult attends free.
$9 per Child (Non-member) / $7 per Child (Member)
Little Sprouts Story & Stroll (indoor) classes include a story, theme-related learning activities, and a stroll through the outdoor gardens or conservatory.
Little Sprouts: Gardening (outdoor) classes take place outdoors in the Children’s Kitchen Garden where participants listen to a story, water plants, dig in the soil, and engage in hands-on learning activities.

What is ephemeral art? Art that is only created with natural materials and is meant to get blown away by the wind or tumbled down by the rain. In this class, we will explore early spring ephemerals around the garden and create art to match using only the things we find on the ground. Dress for the weather and bring your creativity! Ages 5-11 with an adult
“Move like a great river; be still like a mountain” instructs the age-old description of the meditative exercise and movement art of T’ai Chi Ch’uan. This class offers standing movements and seated practices rooted within the Chinese tradition of Tai Chi and Chi Kung for the enrichment of body, mind and spirit. All physical abilities welcome, including those in need of chair-based practice.
