With permission from the donor, Olbrich recognizes gifts to the Gardens in the following ways:

Olbrich Loyal Friends

Olbrich supporters who have made donations for ten consecutive years but have not yet reached $5,000 in cumulative giving are considered Olbrich's Loyal Friends. They are invited to an annual tour of the Gardens given by members of the Conservatory and Horticulture staff.

Lifetime Members

Donors whose cumulative giving to the Gardens is $5,000 or more are invited to become Lifetime Members. This group represents Olbrich's closest friends and is honored each year with a special reception. Lifetime members are members at the Garden Family level for life and are no longer required to pay annual dues. However, they are asked to make an annual donation to support the Gardens.

Garden Benches & Adirondack Chairs

Individual gifts of $10,000 can be recognized with a bronze plaque on a garden bench or set of Adirondack chairs placed in the Gardens. Olbrich staff works with each donor to determine the general placement of the bench or chairs.

Michael B. Olbrich Legacy Society

Those who have made a planned gift to Olbrich Botanical Society are eligible to become members of the Michael B. Olbrich Legacy Society, a group that recognizes these givers during their lifetimes. The group gathers once each year for a special luncheon and tour of the Gardens.

Donors' Arbor

With permission from the donor, Olbrich recognizes cumulative giving to the Gardens with a bronze plaque on the Donors' Arbor, a lovely Prairie style wisteria arbor that serves as the gateway to the Gardens. Categories for recognition of cumulative giving range from $5,000 to $1 million. The Arbor is updated annually.
