Plants are great, but it's the people that make our garden special.
Pick up a variety of bulbs for fall planting to make your garden a pollinator paradise! One of the most beneficial ways to support pollinators is to provide food sources during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Order your bulbs online (only), then pickup on October 17, from 10 - 4 p.m. in Olbrich's main lobby.
Bring your young nature enthusiast to learn all about herbs for this new family class! We will learn about how to use herbs, sustainable harvesting techniques, and even fill a sachet of fresh herbs from the garden to bring home! We will meet indoors but dress for the weather. Ages 5-11 with an adult.
In this workshop you’ll use techniques for using air to create vibrant, abstract sunflowers. Select your colors and learn step-by-step as you create three paintings. Your finished work will be matted to 8x10 and ready for framing. All supplies are provided. No experience necessary.
GLEAM, an annual outdoor art exhibit, features large scale light installations created by local, regional, and international designers. Take an enchanting stroll through Olbrichs 16-acre garden and tropical Bolz Conservatory after dark and see the Gardens in a whole new light!
