Starting Seeds for a Beautiful Yard

Learn how to start seeds and create a beautiful flower border for your yard in this hands-on class. We will focus on plants that attract pollinators, butterflies, hummingbirds, and spectacular moths. With conservation in mind, we will also discuss some clever techniques and ideas to help enhance any spot in your yard. Each participant will take home three windowsill flats with a mix of annual and perennial seeds. This is a great class for beginner gardeners.

Gourd Birdhouses

Create a unique birdhouse for for your yard. Begin with a gourd that will accommodate the songbird you wish to attract. Gourds will be prepared ahead of time to offer plenty of time for you to decorate or embellish your birdhouse based on your desired outcome of a functional or decorative birdhouse.
