Watercolor Spring Themes: Flowers, Birds and Insects
Enjoy a fun day painting spring themes with watercolors. Join us to practice both Eastern and Western watercolor techniques, such as, wet-in-wet, glaze, and dry brush, on a variety of Asian rice papers and to learn the calligraphy for each of the subjects: peony, iris, orchids, morning glories, plum blossoms, egrets with bamboo, small birds, frogs and dragonflies. A supply kit ($30) is available for purchase from the instructor the morning of the class.
