Nighttime Rainforest Sounds
The rainforest is a noisy place! Through squeals, hisses, grunts, howls, and songs, the creatures of the rainforest are constantly communicating. In this nighttime class we will explore the different sounds of the rainforest. Class includes an after-hours walk through the Bolz Conservatory and theme-related activities. Ages 5-11 with an adult. Limited space; register early.

Explore the prehistoric world of ancient plants and animals! Practice your paleontology skills by excavating fossils and identifying dinosaur trackways. Learn about some of the special plants that existed during the time of the dinosaurs that we can still see today, including in the Conservatory! Class includes a walk in the Bolz Conservatory and theme-related activities.

Each class is designed for children to work side-by-side with their adult caregiver as they engage in hands-on, fun, age-appropriate experiences that support the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Little Sprouts Story & Stroll classes include a story, theme-related learning activities, and a stroll through the outdoor gardens or conservatory. Ages 2-5 with an adult; adult attends free.
