- Bar service available in the Conservatory
- Lobby doors open at 5:30 p.m. Conservatory doors open at 6 p.m.
- This is a strolling concert, so no seating is provided, through there are a few benches in the Conservatory.
- The Canopy Sessions are amplified performances, not acoustic.
- You may purchase tickets in advance online or at the door

Samba Novistas
Samba Novistas are a five-piece band that plays a wide variety of Brazilian and Brazilian-influenced music including samba, pagode, bossa nova, samba-reggae, lambada, sertanejo, coco and forro, as well as originals and our own interpretation of Anglo tunes. This is music that is emotional, sensual, irrepressibly danceable and reaches beyond language.
Samba Novistas is led and inspired by singer Ana Paula Johnson. Ana Paula is a Carioca - a native of Rio de Janiero. Her musical soul combines her grandmother’s macumba and the samba schools of Rio with her love of American blues and funk. She is also the singer for the Handphibians, - a Madison based Bateria (Brazilian percussion orchestra) that plays Samba, Samba-Reggae and Maracatu styles of Brazilian street festival music.

Sala Thai Festival
On June 25, the community is invited to celebrate the 190th anniversary of U.S. - Thai diplomatic relations with a day of food, music and dance performances, and workshops and demonstrations. Unique opportunities to experience the rich cultural heritage of Thailand will be available for all ages to enjoy throughout the Gardens. Admission is free; food and beverage are an additional cost.
