Approved Caterers Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a City of Madison public park. Because the Gardens is publicly funded, each of these caterers has liability insurance with the City of Madison and has paid a security deposit. In addition, each caterer remits 12% of the total food and non-alcoholic beverage sales from an event to the City of Madison thru Olbrich Gardens. Due to Public Health Food & Safety regulations, potluck or carry-ins are not allowed. Please contact the Rental Coordinator, as listed below, with any questions. Alcoholic beverages Blue Plate Catering carries the liquor license for Olbrich Botanical Gardens thru 2014. Any and all alcoholic beverage service must be sold and served through Blue Plate Catering. If not having alcohol, non-alcoholic beverage service may be arranged with the approved caterer of your choice. To reserve your bar service needs, please call the vendor immediately upon reserving your room. This information can be found on the Blue Plate Catering website: "For service at Bishop O’Connor Center, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, The Banquet Room and Warner Park Recreational Center Host bar prices are subject to an 18% service charge and applicable sales tax. Cash bars are tax inclusive. Bartenders will be charged at a rate of $20/hour/bartender from one hour before your event until one hour after your event. Minimum of 3 hours. One bartender per 70-75 guests. A $100 deposit is due in order to hold space in our book for your bar service needs." Please contact:
