2020 Hallows' Eve Concert

Saturday, October 31, 7:30 p.m.

Don a costume or seasonal attire and dare to enter Olbrich Gardens after dark for a Hallows' Eve Concert featuring a Madison favorite, Sunspot. In addition to music, visitors will be treated to haunting local ghost stories, weird history, and the paranormal.

  • To ensure safe social distancing, there will be a limit of 25 tickets for the Great Lawn and 25 tickets for the rooftop terrace.

From investigating haunted concert halls to performing at abandoned hospitals to hitting the stage at a UFO convention, Sunspot doesn't just sing about adventures, they live them. As an acoustic duo, Sunspot combines male and female vocals, guitar and violin in an energetic performance full of humor with plenty of opportunities to sing along.

Sunspot has won the Wisconsin Area Music Industry's Artist of the Year (an award won by other cheese state luminaries like Violent Femmes, Garbage, and Bon Iver) and has also won Best Rock Album from the Madison Music Awards five times. Recent film and TV placements include Expedition Unknown with Josh Gates, as well as the releases of The Fate of the Furious and Dead Again in Tombstone.

In addition to the music, Mike and Wendy Lynn also host the See You On The Other Side podcast, a show that dives into the paranormal and music. Mike is the founder of Madison Ghost Walks, and they are both haunted history buffs and have told ghost stories on stations from WGN to the BBC.

Olbrich is always looking for new solo and group performers to keep our concert series fresh. If you are interested in performing for one of Olbrich's concert series, please contact:
