SAT 13 & SUN 14	GROWING GIFTS SHOP annual SALE Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm Sunday, 10 am - 5 pm Find the perfect gift for the gardening enthusiast on your holiday shopping list at the Growing Gifts shop annual sale. During this once-a-year sale, the general public receives 10 percent off all purchases, and Olbrich Botanical Society members receive 20 percent off purchases. Olbrich's Growing Gifts shop specializes in unique garden-themed items for the whole family. Choose from a variety of gardening books, decorative dinnerware, stationery, jewelry, and gifts for the home. Olbrich's Growing Gifts shop is a member of Dane Buy Local with all profits benefiting Olbrich Botanical Gardens.

OCT 03 thru JAN 02	ongOing: ART EXHIBIT: John ribble Sundays, 11 am - 5 pm Detailed, plein air landscapes of Dane, Green, and Iowa counties are the focus of Madison artist John Ribble's pastel paintings. Each painting is created entirely on-site outdoors and portrays the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The exhibit is free and open to the public on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
SEPT 07 thru JAN 02 2011	Ongoing: Bolz conservatory exhibit - life in the canopy The lush plants on the forest floor of the Bolz Conservatory draw the attention of most visitors...But look up! Up to 90 percent of life in the rainforest exists in the trees - colorful orchids, bromeliads that provide watery homes for tree frogs, birds, animals, and more. Discover the Bolz Conservatory’s canopy layer and the plants and animals that call the canopy home. Admission to the Conservatory is $1. The Conservatory is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $1 for the general public. Admission is always free for Olbrich Botanical Society members and children 5 and under, and is free for the general public on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. 	ONGOING: YOGA IN THE GARDENS Mondays 5:30 - 6:45 pm OR Thursdays 7:30 - 8:45 am Held inside the tropical Conservatory or Outdoor Gardens when possible. The cost is $12 per class, no registration required.
