Guided tour program for school groups 

Olbrich Botanical Gardens offers several ways for your group to experience the amazing world of plants. Visiting school groups will benefit from a rich learning experience, offering hand-on experiential education that can supplement classroom curricula and state learning standards.

Olbrich offers different tour options depending on your grade level and group. See the options below to decide what fits your unique needs.

Ecology Explorer - Offered in the fall, this new program covers garden ecosystems and includes a guided tour of the Outdoor Gardens as well as hand-on learning activities covering age-appropriate themes. This program is available for grades kindergarten through 5th grade.

Tropical Explorer - Offered in the spring, this program teaches students about the amazing world of tropical rainforests. The program includes a tour of the indoor Bolz Conservatory and offers hands-on learning activities covering age-appropriate themes. This program is available for grades kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Self-Guided Visits - Scheduled self-guided visits are available for groups that are unable to fit in our schedule or would rather tour the Outdoor Gardens or Bolz Conservatory on their own.
